Searching EDGAR

As web technologies have evolved, so has the sophistication of the EDGAR database.  With the EDGAR database, you can:

 


Search for company reports since 1994 using a convenient search form . . . 

 

 

         The following parameters are allowed:

  • Company Name

  • Ticker Symbol

  • State

  • Country

  • SIC Code [Note:  NAICS is not used]

 

Search the header fields of company documents (except the most recent day) using Boolean operators (AND, OR, NOT, etc) using this search form . . .

 

Review a list of only the most recent filings . . .

 

The SEC also provides both quick and in-depth tutorials for how to search EDGAR.
