Milner Library offers an extensive array of authoritative resources that enable you to gain insight into the world of securities and other investment instruments.
Though many resources are in digital formats, some are still in print, so please come to Milner to consult those sources--or call / email me if you have a reference query.
Most of the print resources listed in these pages are in our Floor 2 Reference collection (non-circulating), so they will always be available for use during normal library hours.

- Dow Theory Forecasts (Online)Offers investment assistance & strategies for the individual investor.
- Earnings Forecaster / Zacks (Print)HG4501 .E27 (Floor 2 Current Periodicals); older issues in Floor 4 Stacks.
- Nexis UniReports from Nelson, Weiss and Zacks. In the box titled: "Get Company Info," click on the link that reads "Company Profiles." Check the box that reads "Stock Reports, Combined" and then search by company name, ticker, etc.
- Mergent ArchivesClick on tab titled "Equity Report Search" and enter your search terms; click buttons to add search filters or screen by analyst ratings. Reports are by Ford Equity Research.
- S & P Global NetAdvantageOnce you are in the database, click on the "Companies" tab. "The Outlook" (middle of page) is an investment advisory newsletter. Also look for link to "Investment Ideas" section with multiple links (left-hand frame), as well as stock and bond analyst reports & ratings on individual companies.

- Mergent ArchivesClick on the tab titled "Annual Report Search" to search by company name / ticker, region or industry sector.
- S & P Global NetAdvantageSet the "Resources" drop-down menu to search for annual reports by company name or ticker symbol.
Bond & Convertible Bond Data
Topics covered include: bond ratings, convertible bonds, coupon and maturity, interest and payment dates, yield to maturity and bond education.
- Barron's (Online)This link covers 1988-present. Milner holdings of Barron's go back to 1921, and it is also available on microfilm. Contact me with any questions.
- Bond Buyer (Online)The daily newspaper of public finance. Each issue includes a "market statistics" page.
- Electronic Municipal Market Access (Online)EMMA houses municipal disclosure documents that provide information for investors about municipal securities.
- FINRA Bond Market Data (Online)This is a free site, not one purchased by Milner.
- Investor's Business Daily (Online)Daily, but delayed for a couple of days. Print subscription might be more current than the database option.

- Mergent ArchivesEnter name / ticker of company. If company is present in the database, there might be a tab for "Bond Reports."
- S & P Global NetAdvantageOnce in the database, click on the "Companies" tab. Look in the left-hand frame for the Bond Screener.
- Standard & Poor's Statistical Service (Print)HC101 .S74701 (Floor 2 Reference Stacks). Basic statistics. Banking and finance.
- Wall Street Journal (Online & Print)Link is for online, research edition. Most recent 7 days of print edition kept in current newspapers section of Milner on Floor 2. Newspapers are in alphabetic order.
