How to Save Your Work in Microsoft Word on Library Computers

This video shows how to save your work in Microsoft Word on Library computers.

How to Save In Microsoft Word on Student Computers

  1. Double click File tab.
  2. Click Save As.
  3. Click OneDrive Illinois State University in menu on the right.
  4. Click OneDrive Illinois State University folder on the left– will connect to your OneDrive folder and display screen similar to My Computer save screen.
  5. In the resulting save box, name your file and click Save.

How to Save Your Work In Office 365

  1. Click File.
  2. Click Save As on left of screen.
  3. Click Save As button at top of list.
  4. Name your document and click Save.

NOTE: You will only have to do this the first time you save a new document.  After that, Office 365 will automatically save your document every time you modify it.
