Media Encoder Audio and video encoding
  • Audacity 2.0: record live audio or edit existing MP3, WAV, Ogg Vorbis, and AIFF files
  • VLC Media Player: open almost all video and audio file types and convert to other file types

Audacity has lots of great tutorials and tips on their wiki.


One digital media station is available in a soundproof booth in the northwest corner of Floor 6. The booth is not locked and not reservable.

Two more digital media stations are in the multimedia center on Floor 2.
