Teaching Resources

Milner Library Resources and Services

A course reserve allows temporary access to resources that are necessary for a particular class or set of classes. A course reserve can be a textbook, book, book chapter, article, cd, dvd, streaming video/audio file, 3-D object, etc. and can be either a physical or electronic item. Physical reserve items can be checked out for two hour periods, and must remain in the library. Electronic course reserves are either uploaded to a library server or a ReggieNet course site.

ISU ReD is Illinois State University's online repository.

  • To learn more about ISU ReD, including what can be included, click this link.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact myself, or the ISU ReD Administrator.

Milner Library lets graduate students and other proxies pick up your library items for you! For mor information, see Milner's How to Borrow Materials page.

Requested library items can now be delivered to your campus mailbox, rather than having to come to Milner to pick them up. For a detailed description of how to set up this service, visit Milner's Campus Delivery page.
