Teaching Materials Center: Finding Books / eBooks

Reading eBooks

There are three ways to read eBooks:

  1. Read in your browser
  2. Download to your laptop or tablet
  3. Print one or more pages

In most instances, you will be prompted to log in using your ULID username and password before the eBook is displayed, whether or not you are on or off campus.

The steps to download or print an eBook are dependent on the publisher's website. Consult our eBook Guide for specific information about each format.

Resource Books for Teachers - PreK-Grade 12

Two areas in the Teaching Materials Center are specifically designed to assist teachers with lesson planning.

  1. The TMC Text area is curricular materials (the "WHAT" we teach) arranged by discipline and then by grade range:
  • Early Childhood (PreK)
  • Elementary (K-6)
  • Middle Level (5-8)
  • High School (9-12)

Materials overlap due to publishers' curricular models, so you might have to look in more than one area to find what you need.

Electronic Textbooks (student and teacher edition) can be found here.

  1. The TMC Pro area (the "HOW" we teach it) is full of idea and activity books arranged by discipline.
