A quick guide on using the Mendeley source manager.

Zotero Plug-in for Microsoft Word

You can select a default style In the Desktop app

  1. In the View menu, select Citation Styles
  2. Choose from the list provided or select More Styles if what need isn't listed
  3. Within Word, this style will be the default style used for your in-text citations
  1. Within the Word document, place the cursor in the location where the in-text citation should appear.
  2. Click the References tab
  3. Click the Insert Citation button
  4. Search for the reference(s) you need to cite by author, title or year
  5. Select the source from the options listed
  6. Click the OK button
  7. Click outside of the reference field to deselect and continue writing.
  1. If you are editing the citation after adding it to your document, make sure your blinking cursor is within the in-text citation and click the Edit citation button
  2. Select the source information in the Add/Edit popup window
  3. In the Page field, type in the page number
  4. Click the OK button

  3. Check the suppress author option
  4. Click the OK button
