A quick guide on using the Mendeley source manager.

Adding and Creating a List of References (Bibliographies)

  1. Place your cursor where you want the bibliography to be inserted
    • We recommend creating a new page blank page at the end of your document first
  2. Click the Insert Bibliography button
  3. The bibliography will be automatically inserted in the correct style format

You can only create a stand alone bibliography via the Desktop app.

  1. Open the Desktop app
  2. Select the folder with the sources you want to create a bibliography from
  3. Choose Select All in the Edit menu
  4. In the Edit menu, choose Copy As... > Formatted Citation
  5. Open your document and choose Paste
  6. Make needed modifications like line spacing and hanging indent as needed.
