Introduction to Mendeley

Mendeley is a free source manager and academic social network. It is owned by Elsevier. Use Mendeley to:

  • Organize your sources for one or multiple research projects
  • Discover other relevant papers based on the sources and pdfs your have in your library
  • Using a word processor plug-in, generate in-text citation and bibliographies with just a few clicks
  • Select a variety styles including APA, MLA, and Chicago
  • Collaborate with colleagues and share papers
  • Access your source library by syncing from multiple devices to your online account (Mendeley Web)
  • Communicate with other researchers via an online network featuring such as newsfeeds, comments, profile pages, etc.
