Search For Dissertations/ Theses by Methodology

How to search for dissertations/theses by research method:

  1. Start at the Dissertations & Theses link under Research Sources on this guide
  2. Type in your chosen research methodology as the main search term (example: ethnography
  3. Find the drop-down box to the right of the search field. Select Index term (keyword) – DISKW
  4. Hit ‘Enter’ or click the Search button to run the search.
  5. The initial list of results will be shown. Optional: Use the left-hand sidebar to further refine the results.
  6. Click on any title to view more information.
  7. Review the abstract or introduction (within the text of the source) to double-check the research methodology and other details.​
  8. To save, email, and/or cite this source, click the buttons in the upper-right corner.
