I created this guide for COM 201 students to highlight various types of academic and scholarly resources that are useful for research about social movements and issues.

Milner has many resources and services to assist you in your research and use of the library. We are here to help you!
- Find a Course ReserveCheck to see if instructor has placed items on reserve for your class. Search by Course, Instructor or Department.
- Milner/ I-Share AccountThe Milner/ I-Share Account allows you to borrow books in print from other Illinois college and university libraries also in the I-Share system and to check on the status of items you have borrowed and requested from ISU and other libraries
- Interlibrary LoanInterlibrary loan service is available at no cost to ISU students, faculty and staff. Use interlibrary loan to request articles unavailable at Milner Library and books unavailable from Illinois libraries through I-Share. Account setup is no longer required. Just login with your ULID and password to place a request.
