In addition to our books and online resources, Milner Library offers

  • a variety of study spaces (individual and group study rooms), a quiet floor,  and a collaborative area on Floor 3. There are
  • computers on almost every floor
  • printing stations on every floor
  • scanning stations (scan to pdf or image for free) on most floors

Brief-est History

Milner Library is Illinois State University's campus library and home to over 1.4 million volumes. Milner Library was built in 1976 and is named in honor of Angeline Vernon Milner, who was the first university librarian from 1890-1928.
