Article Databases

To search multiple databases at the same time, click on the "Articles" tab on the Milner website.
The sources listed below are good places to begin your research.
        
1. America History and Life  is the major database for United States history.  
          It contains references to journal articles, book reviews, and dissertations. 
          Use the FIND IT link to locate your articles.


2. JSTOR is a full text database that contains several history journals, as well as journals in related social science areas. 
        

3.  Project Muse is a full text database containing articles from history, social science and humanities journals.
 

4Academic Search Complete is a general database covering many subject areas with many full text articles.

 

5.  Readers' Guide Abstracts covers articles in general interest and popular periodicals and magazines.
