Comparing State Legislation with HeinOnline's National Survey of State Laws
If your research requires comparison of state laws on a particular topic, this database may be a useful resource. HeinOnline has collected state legislation on a variety of issues. To use find what you need, you can either browse through the list of topics or search for yourself.
You will then see a chart that lists where in each state's code relevant legislation exists, as well as a a quick definition and other specific details relating to the issue. If there are previous versions of the law, you will be able to see those as well below each state's current legislation.
