Tip 1 - Use the Advanced Search to apply search filters and build search combinations across separate lines.
Tip 2 - For terms or phases that are not a single word, select quotation marks to search effectively.
Tip 3 - Link synonyms or related terms with ORs (capitalized) to broaden the scope of result retrieval. Link terms with ANDs to narrow the scope of result retrieval. Look here for more information on these linking operators.
Tip 4 - Consider using truncation (adding an asterisk to the ending of a search term). By adding an asterisk, you can search for terms with slightly different word endings at once. For example, by searching disab*, the search will search for items referenced the terms disabled, disability, and disabilities
