IDS 109 (Transfer Student Seminar) 

New transfer students can register to take the Transfer Student Seminar (IDS 109). This 1-credit hour course helps transfer students adjust to campus and get connected with valuable campus resources. Current course offerings can be found in course finder

Scholarships

Visit ISU's scholarship page to learn more about scholarship opportunities! Transfer-specific scholarships include the Transfer Student Scholarship, the Legacy Scholarship, and the Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship. Completing this eligibility form will also help identify what scholarships you might qualify for!

Redbird Life

Interested in getting involved on campus, but not sure where to start? Transfer Redbirds helps transfer students adjust to campus and get involved, and Tau Sigma is an honor society just for transfer students. Redbird Life also has descriptions and contact information for the over 400 Registered Student Organizations at ISU, as well as an events calendar for events happening around campus! There's something for everyone! 

Visor Center

Need tutoring help with a class? The Julia N. Visor Center is located in the Vrooman Center (in the basement of Hewett-Manchester Residence Halls) and offers weekly tutoring assistance, math and writing assistance, and a computer lab.
