How to download data
Look for the exporting data feature in your dataset resource.
Ensure that you utilize a file format (e.g., .csv, .json) that is usable by your data visualization or statistical software tool(s).
Always make a backup copy before proceeding with statistical analysis, data visualization, etc.
How to clean data
Are there missing variables? Are there hidden values?
Are there duplicate values? Rows? Columns?
Are there merged and split columns?
Look for the effects of autoformatting (e.g., 5-10 being converted into May 10).
