This is a quick start guide to support educators as they begin implementing the Inclusive Curriculum Law, which requires that Illinois public schools include instruction and adopt instructional materials that accurately portray the political, economic, and social contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) individuals.

This fact sheet gives a short overview on the Teaching Equitable Asian American Community History (TEAACH) Act. This act requires that students in every public elementary and high school in Illinois learn about the contributions of Asian Americans to the economic, cultural, social, and political development of the United States.
