Open Access and Copyright Free Images

Images labeled as open access, copyright free, or public domain can be used without getting permission and restriction. However, some images cannot be sold or used in commercial products or for commercial purposes. Read the use licensing when available and for projects, cite the images.

Creative Commons Images on Flickr

Flickr contains millions of photographs and many photographers have licensed their images under a Creative Commons licenses.

Several overlays to Flickr offer enhanced search functionality and additional features.
