Best Practices for Writing Annotated Bibliographies
Once you have your reference list created in RefWorks, you need to create the annotations.
Read each article carefully. Take notes. Notes will be helpful when writing your annotated bibliography annotations.
Decide what articles are the best. Look at how often authors are cited in other articles. Choose similar articles on a focused topic.
Be sure you don't summarize the article in your annotation. Instead, you should:
Explain why the source is relevant to your topic
Explain how you found the article
Explain how the evidence supports your PICO or change project
Use specific examples of evidence from the articles
