• Read each article carefully. Take notes. Notes will be helpful when writing your annotated bibliography annotations.
• Decide what articles are the best. Look at how often authors are cited in other articles. Choose similar articles on a focused topic.
• Be sure you don't summarize the article in your annotation. Instead, you should:
  • Explain why the source is relevant to your topic
  • Explain how you found the article
  • Explain how the evidence supports your PICO or change project
  • Use specific examples of evidence from the articles
