Open to first-generation college students, students with disabilities, and those who meet financial need guidelines, TRIO provides a network of support to help members succeed in the classroom, on campus, and after graduation.

When you don’t know who to ask, start with the Dean on Duty! Each weekday from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., an Associate Dean of Students is available to listen, assist students in gathering information, serve as a referral source, and help students navigate through the University.

Can assist with questions related to paying for college, loans, scholarships, and more. Students experiencing financial hardship or a change in circumstance are encouraged to contact the Financial Aid Office to see if there are any other options available.

The ICRT reviews reported bias-related incidents affecting students and refers them to appropriate University and community entities.

Provides immigration advising services and programming to ISU international students and scholars.

Offers tutoring, workshops, and specialized programs to help students succeed academically.

The Athletics Study Center is a hub of academic support for student-athletes.

Facilitates programs that promote anti-racism, equity, and justice. The Multicultural Center also houses the offices of four sponsored RSOs (Asian Pacific American Coalition, Association of Latin American Students, Black Student Union, and Pride), as well as a clothing closet for transgender students, reflection/prayer room, and family room for parents and their children.

Promotes off-campus student safety, citizenship, and positive interactions with the larger residential community. Also reviews leases on request and responds to landlord/tenant issues.

Offers sober socialization, a weekly meal, and support-based opportunities to help college students in Bloomington-Normal navigate substance use and/or other compulsive behavioral challenges.

With over 400 RSOs to choose from, ISU has many options for finding community support with other students.

The Residential Case Manager team provides holistic support, connects residents with resources on and off campus, and can help students navigate college life challenges.

The Admissions Office has many funding options for freshman and transfer students, including scholarships and grants.

AsiaConnect is an association of Illinois State University faculty and staff and Bloomington-Normal community members who work together in the interest of the Asian community.

ABAE is a medium through which Black employees at Illinois State University participate in shared governance. The Association’s purpose is to serve in an advisory capacity to University administrators, faculty, staff, and students regarding the general welfare of all Black employees at Illinois State University.

Provides support for educators in their pursuit of excellence and innovation in teaching, student learning, and the effective use of technology.

A free, voluntary, and confidential program that provides problem identification, counseling, and referral services to assist ISU employees with a variety of concerns.

FSCT members work to identify, monitor, and when deemed necessary, recommend appropriate actions when university faculty and staff display threatening and/or dangerous behavior. The FSCT is not an intervention team. The members gather information from multiple sources and meet on an as-needed basis.
