If Milner does not own a book, search All I-Share Libraries for the book title and request the book from one of the 90 other I-Share Libraries in Illinois.
There are three ways to read ebooks:
If you are on campus, you will be automatically logged in for access. When you are off campus, you will be prompted to login using your ULID username and password before the eBook is displayed.
The steps to download or print an ebook are dependent on the publisher's website. Consult our eBook Guide for specific information about each format.

Communication is a relatively new academic discipline. Therefore no single letter or call number in the Library of Congress Classification System represents all topics in the field of Communication.

Find materials your instructor has placed on Reserve for your class to read. Search by Course, Instructor or Department.
Reserve items are available for 2 hour use in the library. Reserve materials in print may be scanned to your USB drive at no charge using Milner Library's scanner machines located on each floor at Milner.
Can't make it into the library? You may use our Course Reserve Request Form to request a digital scan of a reading.
In Milner's Catalog, some items have the location "Closed Stacks" or "Storage North." Request these items from storage by logging into your Milner/I-Share account and then submitting a request for the item.
