Anatomy of a Scholarly Article

Original research articles generally follow a similar structure, including an Abstract, Introduction, Literature Review, Methods, Analysis, and Conclusion. When you find an article that might be useful, first read the abstract. If the abstract contains too much jargon, or the research question posed isn't useful, move on to the next article!

If the article is useful,  skip ahead to the conclusion, read that, and then embark on the entire article.
