Physics

To find books, always start with the Milner Catalog. Milner Library has an strong physics collection, but we may not have everything you need. If we don't have a book or if our copy is checked out, try these additional catalogs, in this order:

• Illinois Academic Libraries Universal Catalog, I-Share - Our affiliation with I-Share entitles you to borrow books from any member library. You can request books online from this catalog for pickup at Milner, or visit member libraries in person and use your Redbird Card to check out books there. Online requests will not be filled if Milner has an available copy, so be sure to check Milner first, but there are no such limitations on visiting other I-Share libraries to borrow books in person. If there is no copy available in I-Share, you can request the book from Interlibrary Loan.
• WorldCat - Contains over 36 million records of material cataloged by OCLC member libraries anywhere in the world. Features a direct link to Milner's Interlibrary Loan (look for the "Request item from ILL" link) to request items we do not own.
