Scholarly Communication: Publishing Services

This guide describes services of Milner Library's scholarly communication program, and provides links to resources related to academic publishing, copyright, and open educational content.

Publishing Services

Milner Library publishes peer-reviewed journals, dissertations and theses authored by Illinois State University students, and conference proceedings. If you are seeking journal or conference hosting services, please contact us.

Peer-reviewed Journals

Dissertations and Theses

When students submit their dissertation or thesis to ProQuest, they have the option of depositing a copy in ISU ReD.

Students have options for how "open" they want to make their work:

  1. Work is available full-text online to anyone with an Internet connection
  2. Work will become available full-text online after an embargo period
  3. Work is available full-text only to the Illinois State University community (ULID login required)

Please contact the Graduate School or a librarian with questions about these options.
