This page will walk you through the steps to finding news articles using the Nexis Uni database. If you need more assistance, please contact me using the information in my profile or reach out to Milner's reference desk.
On the Nexis Uni homepage click the Advanced Search link.
From the Advanced Search page, select the News tab. This will change the search form to the new-specific page. Enter keywords into the search boxes. If there is a specific date range you want to search, use the Date Range option to do so.
At the bottom of the Search page, you can select a specific publication to search within. Type the name of a news source into the box to see if that title is available through the database. You can select as many sources as you want. When you are done click Search.
This will take you to the results page. Clicking the title of an article will take you to the full text. Below the title, you can see which publication put out the article. You can also see the publication date and the geographic location of the content.
On the left side of the page is a list of filters for your search results. Use these filters to reduce the number of results if needed.
