Marketing

For marketing majors, those taking marketing classes, entrepreneurs, and students with interdisciplinary projects, this guide will help you with all aspects of researching for your marketing project.

Non-Milner Materials

Milner won't always have everything that you need. With enough time, we can get you almost anything.

There are two primary methods of requesting non-Milner materials.

1. I-Share: for physical books that are in other Illinois libraries.

2. InterLibrary Loan for articles and for books not available through Illinois libraries.

Use the following tabs to find out how to access items through I-Share or ILL.

Note on ebooks:

Some ebooks are available through I-Share, but not all. If you click on an ebook and it says "only available via Other University login," then that item is not available to ISU faculty, staff, or students.

Books from I-Share Libraries

Milner partners with other research and academic libraries in Illinois to share books. This program is called I-Share.

With I-Share, you can search in other libraries, request books, and have them delivered to Milner or an I-Share location of your choosing in 3-5 days.

The help video for an I-Share request is below. You can read the transcript for the video by following this link.

Request an Item through InterLibrary Loan

Through our InterLibrary Loan program, Milner can request articles and books from outside of Illinois and I-Share.

Most article requests take 3-7 days and most book requests take 7-14 days to arrive. Please plan accordingly.

There are two ways to request an article or book through ILL: via citation or via the Find It Button. The help video for citation request is below. You can read the transcript for the video by following this link.
