Faculty FYI Guide to Milner Library

This guide addresses a broad array of Library services unique to your research and teaching needs.

About This Section

The Research section of the guide highlights the various ways Milner Library can supplement your research and creative productivity.

  • Copyright
Understanding copyright can be challenging both for teaching and research. The resources on this page provide some general guidelines when it comes to your research and utilizing copyrighted materials.
  • Managing & Storing Sources
During the research process, keeping track of any outside sources you've consulted and plan to use can be challenging. Source management platforms can be extremely helpful for keeping track of all of that information. This page highlights platforms (EndNote, Zotero) you might find useful.
  • Document Delivery
Even though you have access to thousands of articles, books, video, etc. here at Milner, we don't have (& can't afford) to provide access to everything. To supplement your research needs we have a variety of document delivery services you can utilize.
  • ISU ReD: Research and eData
Illinois State University's institutional repository supports open and long-term access to the research and scholarship of our faculty, staff, and students. It is comprised of articles, reports, electronic theses and dissertations, data sets, and other digital assets that reflects the diversity of the research, scholarship, and creative activities of the ISU community.
