Finding Folktales, Fairy Tales, and Fables

The TMC Dewey collection contains traditional tales from around the world, and can be browsed by walking through the 398.2 call number range.

Some effective keywords to use while searching the catalog are:

  • trickster
  • folklore
  • legend
  • myth
  • tall tale
  • fairy tale

Consider combining these with another keyword for a theme, descriptor, or specific geographic region.
