Course Reserves provide access to limited resources by multiple students. A course reserve can be a textbook, book, book chapter, article, cd, dvd, streaming video/audio, 3-D object, etc. and can be either a physical item or an electronic version. Physical course reserves stay in the library and can be checked out for two hours at a time. Electronic course reserves are linked either via a library server or in your ReggieNet course site.
To place an item on Course Reserve, please fill out our Course Reserve Request Form. If you have any questions, please contact me.
Faculty members may designate another person to pick up books for them while they are away from campus. This is called the Proxy Patron Service. The designated individual must have current library privileges, including not blocks and an ISU card or Milner courtesy card.
Please use the online registration form to register someone as a proxy patron. You will need either that person's UID (University ID number) or the barcode number on their courtesy card.
