- Grove Music OnlineCompilation of music reference sources and includes full text articles, musician biographies, and music-related definitions. Includes Grove Music Online, The Oxford Companion to Music, and The Oxford Dictionary of Music. Limited to eight simultaneous users.
Scores
- NkodaNkoda is a searchable, curated collection of music scores. You can search for scores on the app or using the Databases A to Z list link, BUT you can only view scores by installing the Nkoda App on your personal device. You can only view scores as online files within the Nkoda app. They are not downloadable or printable. Choose the 'Login with your institution' option. It is recommended you use your ISU email address. Consult our FAQ for mobile device instructions.

- Met Opera On Demand: Student AccessStreaming videos of the Met Opera on Demand with the Live in HD series dates back to the 1970s. Also includes radio broadcasts starting in 1935 and a synopsis of each performance in multiple languages.
- Berliner Philharmoniker's Digital Concert Hall
Streaming video database of Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra concerts (some live-streaming), artist interviews, and documentaries. Users are required to create a personal account by clicking on "Start Institutional Access" and filling out the required information. Limit of three simultaneous users.
- Jazz Music Library (Music Online)This compressive streaming jazz music database includes over 5000 jazz albums representing various artists, ensembles, and genres.
- Database of Recorded American Music (DRAM)Streaming audio of American music from independent record labels and sound archives. Also includes liner notes and essays. A wide variety of genres including folk, opera, Native American, jazz, 19th century classical, early rock, musical theater, contemporary, and electronic.
- Classical Music in Video (Music Online)This streaming music database includes classical music performances from major orchestras, chamber music, oratoria, and solo performances during the 1950s to present day.
