Music Software

Music Notation Software

Although Milner Library does not have music notation software on any computers, there are few other options for you to access music notation software:

Recording Music

  • Redbird Studios RSO: Has a recording studio in CVA 17 that ISU musicians can use to gain hand-on experience operating in a recording studio. You can fill out a form to schedule a time to use the recording studio.
  • Milner sound proof booth and loanable technology: You could check out a Milner Library laptop and microphone to use to record audio in the sound proof booth on Floor 6 of Milner Library.

Software for Editing Music Recordings

  • Milner Library Audio/Visual Computer Stations: These workstations are on Floor 5 of Milner Library near the central stairwell doors and have the full suite of Adobe Creative Cloud products on them.
  • Use Adobe Creative Cloud apps on your own device: The ISU IT Help website provides information about how to download and install Adobe Creative Cloud apps on your personal device.
