This video shows you how to find course reserve items at Milner Library
Course Reserve items include books, DVD movies, CDs, and other non-digital items.
They are placed there by your professor and can be used in the Library for 2 hours.
On the Library's home page, go to the search box under Start Your Research.
Change the Everything dropdown to Course Reserves.
Type in the course three letter abbreviation and number.
Click the Search button
Scroll through the results to see if the item is listed.
If needed use the Course Number, Name, or Instructor filters to narrow the search results.
If the item is on the list, check the item location and availability
The course reserve location will show as Floor 2 Course Reserve Desk: Building Use Only,
Check to make sure the item shows Available.
For physical items like books and DVDs, check them out at the Service desk on Floor 2.
You can use it for two hours in the library.
For books, you can also scan pages to pdf for free at any of the scanning stations in the library.
For ebooks and other online resources, click the Available Online link and login via Central Login if prompted.
