Checking for Messages

Checking phone messages
1. From either Reference Desk phone dial 8-3000.
2. When you hear, "Hello! Cisco Unity Connection Messaging System ,,,"  Press star key (*).
3. At the prompt, "Enter your ID," dial 8-3451#
4. At the prompt, "Enter your pin," dial 0000#

If there are new messages, it will say "you have 2 new messages," etc.  If it says “To send a message,” there are no new messages. 

Message options:  Repeat:1     Save:2      Delete:3     Forward:5      Mark as New:6      Skip Back:7       Cancel:*

Transferring Calls

Transferring Calls
When talking on the phone, the transfer option appears on the screen above the corresponding button.

  1. Press the transfer button. This places the call on hold.
  2. Dial the third party’s phone number.
  3. Tell the third party you are transferring a call and hit  transfer.
